"Life as I found it on the Sask. prairie.
I have tried to collect a few happenings from
memories lane and to tell you some of the
happy occasions from the ten years of life on the
prairie.
It is 11 years on Fri. Mar. 25, since I went to
my little gray home in the west. It was a small,
low house, with two rooms each 12 x 22. It had
been the home of bachelors and it was sorely in need of
decorating. But it soon became a place we
enjoyed to entertain our friends in. A kind friend
once said "Your home is no bigger than your
hospitality." and it was while I lived in this
small house that I took stock of some of the ladies who
had a big house yet never opened it for a meeting
or seldom for visitors."
