A woman with a rather soothing British accent had an interesting take on the project. She said that she had always thought of doing this kind of thing. At first, I thought she meant that she wanted to carry out a similar art project. It wasn't much of a stretch : she was an artist as well. She happened to be carrying promotional materials for her paintings and she showed me some of her landscapes. But what she meant was that she always meant to keep a written record of her life.

"This is your Grandmother and this is what she's left behind for you. It's her legacy! Do you keep a journal?"

I don't. She told me that I should and that I should take the time to think about what I will leave behind.
