Woman walking her dog : “Can I look?”
“Sure”
“I’m going to Azzies (?) with Ruth to the Good N…executive meeting. Cloudy and windy. Good meeting…so you’re the one who’s been around a couple of days putting up those posters!”
“I’ve actually only been here once, but yes, that’s me!”
“Okay…so what it this about? I read them before, but I just thought, ‘What is this about?’ …and now I’m reading it again and I still don’t know what it’s about!”
I told her what it was all about and she thought it was interesting and she and her dog continued on their way.
I later ran into the same woman, minus her dog. She was waiting for a bus on Main Street and I was walking back from the Pharma Plus, where I had just bought some emergency brown packing tape.
“You’ve got enough to keep yourself busy all day!” she exclaimed.
